QOTD: Have you ever gone to a retreat of any kind?
My A: Nope! But I'm open to trying one!

Full disclosure friends... I read this book in MARCH. That's how far my reviews are backlogged right now. It's been like pulling teeth convincing MYSELF to sit down and put feelings into words lately. This is all to say that while I remember really liking this book, I don't remember much else.

Sometimes you just need a sweet insta love story to warm your heart. I loved both Cybil and Tanner! I’m definitely needing more adventures after that book.

This book was super subpar and I devoured the whole thing. So it can’t have actually been that bad.

This title is accurate. From meeting, falling in love, then a baby in 200 pages. Wow. Didn’t know it was possible.
lighthearted fast-paced

Cybil’s had a bit of a rough go of it lately, the biggest being that her fiancé broke up with a few days before the wedding and now she’s going on a couple’s retreat by herself. It will be a good break from everyone in her town giving her the pitying look she’s starting to grow used to, but it could be better if she wasn’t doing this alone.

Tanner has built his adventure company with his best friends, and they have some set rules that have allowed them to find the success they have, the biggest being never getting involved with a client. Enter Cybil, a beautiful woman with a beautiful sprit that he just can’t give up. Can they find a way to this work when they are from different states?

Rushed was low-angst, easy read with a cute story. I enjoyed the experience of and am looking forward to continuing the series. There was hint of mystery/suspense which was a nice bonus for my mood reader brain. I didn’t love the slight insta-love/lust of the story, but it also didn’t have a major impact on my enjoyment of the story. I like that Cybil and Tanner were able to really communicate with each other which made for an external third act conflict which is always a huge bonus for me.

I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the following:

✔️ Small Town
✔️ Forced Proximity
✔️ Insta-Love/Lust
✔️ First Person Dual POV
