This has been selling like hot cakes at the bookstore where I work, so I decided to give it a try. And I don't really get the hype.

It has a nice message (especially towards the end); I wrote a few quotes down. But overall I don't really find it really new or note-worthy or life-changing. Glad I didn't buy it since it took about 45 minutes to read (so much space and paper for about fifteen words per page..). I'm not sure I always understood what the writer was trying to say. It doesn't help that I'm not really a fan of poetry in general, I suppose.

Disappointing. All the poems feel as if the author has 'crammed' them because of a deadline or something. It's as if she wrote this book just for the sake of writing a book. Perhaps there was heart, but the effort seems missing.

This book is not worth your time: you're better off going on Tumblr.

Nunca había leido un poemario y sin duda este ha sido uno muy bueno para empezar.

Felt a bit uncomfortable with all the poems about sexual intimacy, but the ending wasn’t so bad

wow. this literally spoke to my soul.

Pinterest poetry, man. What else can I say?

30% of the poems were very good. 70% made me cringe.

Kinda silly and overwrought, like if Peyton from One Tree Hill wrote poetry. I liked the drawings.

it's ok. too much sex for my liking. some powerful poems in the hurt psrt but I didn't relate much to the sensual loving part.
