One of favorite authors. Breene knows how to write an action scene. Light on the spice which I prefer.
I think there’s a balance of good sass and bad sass. This was bad sass

This book was funny, had a decent storyline (although I found it to be a little slow)…and the FMC, Reagan was a strong snarky heroine who made me chuckle. Don’t know much about Darius because he wasn’t really fleshed out.
However, what bothered me about this book is that it is ranked and marked as a romance and this is NOT a romance. There was ZERO NADA NONE ZIP sexy times or romance in this book nor did I feel like the characters were connecting on a romantic level.
Y’all this isn't even a slow burn...this is a NO BURN...
In light of this, I won’t be continuing to read this series. This may work for others, but it’s not for me...

The graphic audio is what intrigued me enough to finish the book. The Graphic Audio is better than the book on its own.

This was a fun read. Took a hot minute to get into, but I love snarky sarcastic characters and this one didn't disappoint.

What a pleasant surprise this book was! The characters made reading so much fun. The humor was great, but a little forced. I am definitely putting K.F. Breen on my TBR list.
