A good start to the series, im a little bored of the (snarky all powerful mega Heroine) always got an answer for things... Hard as nails.. doesnt give a crap.... I just read it all the time in Urban fantasy, I prefer my heroines a little more Humble.

But a good story start

I fucking love Breene. I’m not even done with the book but I’m giving it 4 stars because of the scene where the lady insisted on chewing the herbs for our MC despite her assurances she could manage

… and then went on to defend her fanny pack..

She’s talking to a black guy who says he confuses her all the time for the “white girl down the way”’who is an elderly white lady with a walker. I’m DEAD
