This was CRAZY 🤯 I’m not exactly sure if you’re supposed to read then once you’ve finished the rest of the series or not though….but it kind of gave away a huge part of the mystery. But it’s different from the tv show, so I was still shocked. 😳 Did not see that one coming.
Rereading the entire series. It's absolutely wonderful. I love the twists and turns and how it's completely different than the TV show.
Interesting read, the second half more so than the first; it was interesting seeing the backstory through Courtney's eyes, and what lead to the series.

I’ve been a fan of the Pretty Little Liars series for years now. While I’ve enjoyed reading the stories through Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna’s points of view , Ali has always been a mystery. Reading this book through Ali’s (or Courtney’s) point of view was not only fascinating but also eerily creepy. Recently I’ve felt like the last few PLL books have been very similar and quite repetitive. However, this book totally reconfirmed my love for this series. I hope Shephard will release more books like this one and we can finally make sense of the manipulative, crazy, yet fabulous Alison DiLaurentis.
this book made me so frustrated because i knew most of it already. she repeats her self a lot in this book. i did like heraing it frome all point of view insted of the girls. the ending sucks .
i think this could have just been a short story rather than a full-blown book. it wasn't really good for me until the very end, which is all the information we didn't know already. like we knew, but we didn't know the details of how it went down exactly. i feel like the whole beginning of the book was repeated quite a bit throughout the series, so going back to read this felt a bit repetitive.
i think if you read this book as the first official book, it gives you good background, but if you skipped it, you don't necessarily need to read it to know anything extra.
