Cordelia is...NICE!

I'm so excited about where this series is going!

Getting better. I'm such a sucker for cameos. And since this whole series is a reboot, every character is a cameo!

Spoiler Yay Spike! Glad he's showing up so soon! Is Spike like the new Angel now? Lurking around and not killing people? Also, poor Xander!

The reboot continues in this issue. So far I’ve been enjoying the series, but I’m also not terribly surprised by that either. I didn’t read the original series though, so I don’t know how different these two are from each other. Or how similar they are.
They’ve done a great job of reminding us that these characters are teenagers. Buffy is a vampire slayer, yes, but she’s also emotional and moody and sometimes just needs some time to herself. Her friends likewise need help and support, and not always of the ‘save me from the vampire’ variety.

This is really good folks. Really good. And yet, at the same time very frustrating because I want more (yeah basically I'm a sucker because I decided to buy the singles issues and not the TP but I couldn't wait.)

Xander's whining was not really what I expected nor what I wanted, other than that, I really begin to like this alternate Sunnydale. The Spike/Cordelia interaction was really good, I like that they don't make her a bully in this one like she was in the beginning of the show.

Cordy being all friendly to the Scooby gang from the get go is throwing me, haha. I wonder if this new series is going to have her interact more with Spike? (She doesn't really interact with Spike in the shows other than that episode of Angel with Oz, does she??)
