I would definitely recommend this book. Warren explains things in a practical, funny and simple way. Life isn't really complicated (if one has a Christian worldview) and Warren helps you realise that in this book. Life isn't all sunshine and roses but it's not supposed to be. Warren tells the reader how to manage life while on this earth.
This is one of the best devotionals I’ve read! Take it to heart, let it change you into Gods purpose and live purposely towards being Christ-like, and building relationship with God
This is undoubtedly one of the best books I have ever read. Rick Warren is an incredible author who phrases the meaning of life into a 300+ page book that is split into a 40-day devotional. To have conquered his 40-day challenge opened my eyes to the five main purposes of my life: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism. Christ is the centre of my life. There is nothing and no one more important than Him. At the end of the day, what have you to prove that you accomplished but worldly, discarded statements? Become a world-class Christian, not a worldly Christian. When Christ is at the centre of my life, I worship. When he is not, I worry. Remember Philippians 4:6 always. Keep your manifested life purpose close to you.
I strongly recommend this book to anybody who is trying to figure out the meaning of life or is going through a rough patch in their lives. It is definitely life-changing and a blessing to have received this book.

I read this for a small group study at my church. I really didn't agree with a lot of this theologically, but it is a good jumping off point to foster discussion. I would highly recommend this study is led by someone like an associate pastor to help you understand where some of the author's view points come from and how there are definitely discrepancies between denominations.
I read this book every lent season. very clique but has some good points
I loved the beginning, it inspired me and I felt like a new person. Untttilll the second half. All it did was put people down for not being a "perfect Christian" and having human emotions! One night I had to stop reading, it made me feel so bad about myself. I would NOT recommend this book.
Great read! Lots of great information. This book is done in daily chapters that are easy to get through even when you have a hectic schedule. Really good information on how to draw closer to God and realize your purpose for Him.
