I ate this one up. There’s nothing more I love than single parent, small town, second chance romance!!! I’ve been so excited to read about Dusty and Cam’s relationship from the start, so having this be the last in the series was bittersweet.
The pacing of this story was great, and I think if anything more physical had happened between them early on, it would’ve felt wrong. Dusty and Cam needed to slowly work up to getting back together, starting with friendship over anything else.
I do wish that we could’ve seen Dusty and Riley’s relationship grow a little more, like we did with Teddy and Riley. She spent a lot of time in this book with the other fantastic adults in her life, so I felt like I missed out on her.
Overall this was a great read, I love the characters and this town, and I’m so sad to be leaving it!!

There’s a reason that rearview mirrors are small and windshields are big.

I love love love this series and I’m so sad it’s over now 😭 I absolutely adored getting to see flashbacks of the romance between Dusty and Cam as teenagers alongside their current love story. The only reason this was not a 5 star for me was because Cam got in her own way a lot and would push Dusty away when he was just trying to love and protect her.
I love how I could feel the tension and yearning between Cam and Dusty. You root for them the whole time and I loved the section at the end that showed where all of the characters in the series end up

It feels weird to be finished with this world. I want to stay in Rebel Blue myself because of how well it was described by the author. This was a great ending to the series and I enjoyed getting to experience another set of characters love story this way. I enjoyed getting to experience their relationship as it grew 15 years ago with the flashbacks as I feel like not many second-chance romances show how the characters acted in the past like this one did.
The descriptions of locations also was very well done throughout this series. I felt like I was there many times when listening on audiobook. It made me want to up and take a trip to Wyoming just to see places like this for myself.
I also loved getting to experience the bonus chapter with Emmy's wedding in this book. It was a great way to tie up the series and make everything come together!
