Wish I liked it more! Found it to be a bit of a slog and I never was able to get on the same wavelength. I think it's a book that asks you to read between the lines a lot and I'm open to that but maybe for me, mixing that ask with an unreliable narrator and a lot of time spent on things I don't necessarily connect to (Poetry, Nature, Trauma, I guess the ethics of hunting, poland) I found myself putting this book down for days at a time and really struggle to finish it once I got to the reveal.
I think I got this book wrong but it's pretty uninteresting to me to read a reveal that basically tells you everything the main character was telling us was a lie and it's not clear if she knew it was a lie. It puts me in a sort of nitpicking head space that I don't like to be in. It's not fair to the author, it's not fair to the story, and it's not fair to myself.
In any case, literature in translation! I'm a fan of the concept and it was kinda the perfect book to read after a book on JFK cause I think the main character of this book should've absolutely whacked JFK in the head with plastic bag full of hard ice and killed his ass.

The main character is interesting and I just really liked how she is batshit crazy but she’s also her own person and I think it’s beautiful to be yourself in spite and despite the world says nontheless
