I really pity Carrie. I don't like how she craves for attention from Pfeff. I hate Pfeff, gross. The plot twist? Never disappoints.
I love Penny, she's gay.

3,5*

I was about 200 pages into the book when someone asked what it was about. I couldn't answer them. I feel like the whole plot of this book happens in the last 100 pages. The first 2/3 of the book was just fluff. And while I enjoyed it, there was no real purpose for it to be there. Some of it was important, like building a relationship between Carrie and Pfeff, but the rest does't really make sense. It was like I was reading a really long exposition.
On the other hand, one of the things I did appreciate about this book was the main character. I liked the fact that she had major flaws, and I didn't agree with most of her decisions. It made her more interesting to read about. Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend to people who don't like supper plot driven books.
