We Were Liars was great when I first read it and I just finished watching the tv limited series with my daughter. I never thought I'd read the prequel, but after watching the show, I realized there was a lot I was missing. These are the perfect reads for young adults and a fun read for those older who want to delve into a rich family's fantasy world.

I loved the original and was absolutely not disappointed by the prequel. Reading the story from Carries POV after we know she saw ghosts on Beechwood in WWL was fabulous. As twisted as this might seem, the story made me love Harris even more.
However, it was Rosemary who stood out to me. She was heartbreakingly wonderful and written in the most perfect way.
