Family of Liars by E. Lockhart – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautifully written with one of my favorite tropes — an unreliable narrator. The twists were impactful, and the emotional weight hit hard. Pfeff was a total POS and absolutely had it coming.

Hoping we get a season 2 on Prime because there’s so much more to explore in this prequel.

Family of the liars is the prequel of we were liars and centres around the Sinclair sisters, mainly around Carrie Sinclair the oldest sister. It gives similar vibes as we were liars, the unreliable narrator. It shows the self destruction of all the sisters and gives insight on to why the mothers are why the way they are in we were liars. I loved the mystery aspect of it.

i actually liked the first book better. i didn't care about any of the characters and i really don’t care about privileged white girls getting away with stuff just bc their family has money
