Tim Keller and his wife Kathy communicate their biblical convictions about the purpose and praxis of marriage. While some readers might find their conclusions antiquated or incompatible with recent thought, the medium of gentleness carries the message to all ears who are truly as tolerant as they herald. Equal parts anecdote, experience, and exposition, this is a very practical book for individuals or couples who want their understanding of marriage to be shaped by considered and researched Christian thought.

Loved this book! Unlike many other Christian "surface" books on marriage, Keller really gets to the heart of pertinent marital issues. One of the top books I have ever read on marriage. My wife and I read this book together...highly recommend!

You know, I liked this way more than I thought I would! Keller always brings a clarity of thought, and a biblical perspective to his writing that I have to admire. I did disagree with some of his sweeping generalizations, but overall I found this to be a really great read on building a marriage from a biblical perspective (though a rather conservative one). Def recommend for anyone wanting a solid book about marriage as a Christian.

Practical marriage advice for both believers and non-believers, singles and married folks. I found it particularly enjoyable to read with my husband, and would recommend couples do the same!

A powerful yet completely accessible book on love and singleness and the theology of the marriage covenant

The book is insightful and practical.
