I really enjoyed this book. There were some really revelatory points. At times, I felt it was a bit redundant, but I think the author was just trying to make his point heard.

This book was SO GOOD! I have liked other things I have read by Keller, but this was fabulous! I would highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to follow God: single, dating, engaged, married! It was well-written, insightful, and engaging!
hopeful informative reflective medium-paced

Adore this book. Perfect for the couple who has been married a year or so (long enough to realize all the things marriage isn't). A wealth of heart knowledge.

This book was gifted to my husband and I, and we found it to be an interesting read about marriage and faith (in a sea of far less interesting or relevant reads in a similar vein). Good for sparking questions and facilitating discussions even if we found ourselves disagreeing with some of the points (especially as relates to gender roles).

Hands down the best Christian book on relationships/marriage I’ve ever read. I listened to the audiobook but also had to order the physical copy because I knew I’d want to reread soon and annotate/highlight the crap out of it. Never in my life have I read so much life-changing wisdom in one place. This is a game changer and I would recommend it to every single believer no matter how close to or far from marriage they are.

Bad theology, bad arguments, okay tips.

Full of great practical advice, sound theology, and relatable stories that all point toward a holistic and biblical view of marriage.

Timothy Keller and his wife do an excellent job with this book. I found it to be a valuable read.

Best book on marriage I’ve read. Honest and realistic, whilst still driving you towards the joy of marriage.
Will recommend to anyone married or single or engaged. Anyone really!
