Still a very good read but lacks some of the charm of the first two books.

I'm only halfway through, taking a break from it for a bit. I so loved the others, not sure if it's the book or me in this one.

So cool.

I loved the first and second book, but this one took me a long time to finish. It just wasn't as interesting as the other ones, but I will eventually finish the series since I do love the world Valente created!

Don't get me wrong, I still absolutely adore this series. But I felt like with this one my mind wandered more and I had trouble getting into it and staying into it. The story was good though, but my heart (or brain, for whatever reason) wasn't in it.

Beautiful. There is simply no other way to describe Valente's writing.
This is a story with so much heart. With this book, September has grown older and begins the book worried that she won't be able to go to Fairyland anymore. The book explores what it means to grow up and how growing up doesn't mean you have to lose imagination and those things that make you excited. I think this is my favorite of the series and the one that resonates with me the most personally, and I think many people will find the same.
