This was a really great end to the series! At first it felt like it was moving a little slower than the first two, but once I hit the halfway mark and things started to pick up I FLEW through the rest of the book. I loved seeing the development in all the characters and their relationships, and the ending delivered better than I thought it was going to. Overall, really enjoyable!

I enjoyed this next installment in the Sanctuary series. I don't know if it was the last or not. The way the ending came about, it could end there. Or it could have another sequel. If it does, I will eagerly read that one too. Yes, some of the storyline might seem redundant. After all, how many YA female teen heroines do we need? But sometimes, what has been done before continues to be done, just because, it works.

This is such an underrated series. Its an absolute blast to read. Even the tough parts. If you are a fan of the 100 I think this would be for you. I'll definitely miss this rag tag team of rebels and all the shenanigans they have to escape from.

THAT ENDING!
It was criminal.
Rune: DEAD.
Alexi: DEAD.
Mia: Off alone in the world, and not the same.
Cage: See Mia.
Kenzie: Just like Katniss at the end of Mockingjay (before the epilogue)
I've seen several people say it already, but this book NEEDS AN EPILOGUE. Or some short sequel like Stars Above by Marissa Meyer. The characters were all SO SAD!!!!! How is that for an ending????
RIP. I loved this series.
WHAT a wild ride.

I deducted two stars. One for Alexi and the other for Rune. RIP. The rest of this review is a tribute to some of the best characters in this series.

We'll miss you, Alexi and Rune.

Excuse me while I go sob.

I really enjoyed this. It wasn't until I started reading it that I remembered how much I like the characters. This felt really well paced and the story was interesting with some good plot developments. I was left feeling heartbroken yet hopeful which was an interesting combination.

Solid 4 star scifi trilogy.

I felt like this book was just another rehash of the first two. It followed the same formula as both of the previous books in the series and I just didn’t find it interesting. The “twists” weren’t really twists as they were exactly the same as the last two books.
I will admit that I was sad when characters died though.

i actually liked this better than the first two books—all the problems i had with those were nonexistent here and the plot was more exciting than the second book

the only thing i didn’t love were the info dumps, especially considering that this is the third book and there was a LOT of new information introduced
