Well, that was infuriating. I was hoping for a cynical, or at the very least critical, approach to classic self-help tropes. What I got was and endless description of one woman's mental breakdown and her complete lack of healthy coping strategies. There is nothing remotely funny or insightful about this book and Marianne Power's obsession with her first world problems feels extremely tone-deaf.
