Likes:
  • I love when a book talks about grief cuz it’s always in a different way and just cuz it’s important to talk about
  • Ok so far I love every single main character
  • I loved the eclipse metaphor that his aunt made I definitely would’ve underlined or highlighted that if I annotated my books
  • All of the food descriptions
  • Short chapters
  • I love a good kiss scene
  • I’m finding that I absolutely love books centered around food

Dislikes:
  • I wish it was just a little bit longer like maybe 10-20 pages.

Random thoughts:
  • While the questioning of any of it is real part is annoying, fake dating is definitely still and always has been my favorite trope
  • Fast pace probably cuz of how short it is
  • Gift giving is definitely Theo’s love language
  • So since Theo is like super rich, does that mean that this is a billionaire romance but a YA version?
  • WARNING: this book has not only 1 third act break up BUT 2!!!!
  • Definitely a slow-burn

Crazy Rich Asians for YA
