i did not really like this in the beginning but now i can admit it is a little bit cute. but not that cute. there was some smiling but no giggling or blushing or kicking of feet on my part. and i have to cope with the fact that i share a name with the resident asshole in this book.

I was bored, I'm sorry. I don't really care about any of the characters, the writing of all the recipes and cooking was so descriptive it took me out of the story every time. It also might be too ya for me.

Yay! I pre-ordered this from my local bookstore and finally got around to reading it. I devoured this. Sat down this morning and read it from cover to cover. A lovely quick read filled with a lot of feelings and love. The food descriptions made my mouth water and honestly, I'm wondering when I can get more dim sum now haha! Thanks for this fantastic read.
it was cute! i read it soon after finishing cafe con lychee so it was cute to read another baking story that also had a guy named theo as the main character lmao...
this one was cute but i definitely liked cafe con lychee more! it was fun to read tho and i loved how the dog ft. on the cover was actually mentioned multiple times - i swear outside of nellie from heartstopper, i don't hear about pets being mentioned much (however i maybe just haven't read enough books to have read something w/ pets being mentioned?)
