Surprisingly a fun and easy read. Read it about 2 times when I was thinking about writing an essay on it.
A whirlwind of a book, the pace never seems to slow at first. Bombarded with a cast of curious characters but I never seemed to truly know any of them... It was a fine enough novel, one I've always wanted to read. Truly, it was a lot shorter than I expected but a lot was packed into the pages.

A short, beautiful and sad story of love, loss, and the 1920s in the USA. Lots of descriptions of beautiful houses, cars, clothes and women.
While I don't regret reading the book (it's a classic and I'm glad I now know what's in it), I was a bit disappointed, because I somehow expected more of it. Or maybe I'm just sad because of the ending.
