DNF - Chapter 10
I think Garth Nix's writing style and I don't mix. He just describes things THAT DON'T NEED TO BE DESCRIBED. I don't need to know what underwear Susan is wearing. I don't need to know what model of gun Merlin uses. I don't need to know where Jessamine (*i think that's her name*) got her jacket. NONE OF THESE THINGS ADD TO THE PLOT and I think that's why this felt like such a slog to read. Paired with the pain of mocks and too many extracurriculars, not even Merlin could make me bothered to keep reading :'(
