I officially declare myself a fan of Natasha Madison, without a doubt this series became one of my favorites and it's not just because it's about hockey but ‘cause of how wonderful she writes and how everything connects beautifully.

Abigail and Tristan have my heart since Made for Me, reading their story was the best thing that could have happened to me. The feelings, the friends to lovers and seeing little Penelope be happy as she deserves makes this book very special for me. Me, although I read the others in their audio version, I feel that having read this one in a traditional way and early made me want to know a lot more about the whole family, so don't be surprised if I only read Natasha from now on 💖

I cried, I laughed, I fell in love once again with the whole family, but without a doubt Tristan became my favorite, Abigail my girl, I understand why she did what she did but I like how mature everything was, I felt like a proud mom.

A very good read, full of family scenes and a little girl who steals your heart; now I want to read Gabriella's story, but I guess I need to wait! 🥺🫂

🫂thank you Natasha Madison and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for gave me this arc in exchange for my honest review 📚!!

I love this whole family and enjoy each new book we get with all of them!

Made For Us was a fun sports romance between a hockey playing single dad and a nurse. They have been crushing on each other hard and after the night of both of their dreams hello surprise pregnancy! All the side characters, especially Tristan's daughter, really brought this story together!

I listed to the audio of this book and it was performed so well!

4.5 stars, 2.5 chili peppers!
LOVED this book and everything about Tristan and Abigail!!

Tristan and Abigail have been in each other's lives for the lasts 6 years, as he is her brother's hockey teammate, and she has a strong connection with the daughter he found out was his all those years before. They both have had feelings for each other, but been to scared to act on it - instead they are adorably awkward with one another.

When Tristan comes on her large family's vacation, they are staying next door to each other... and one night the tension finally snaps.
Weeks later, Abigail is surprised by 2 little lines on pregnancy test... but does she have the courage to let Tristan know what is happening, after they haven't spoken since their one night together?

I suggest reading book 1 in this series at least, because that is where you meet Penelope and Tristan, and see how this relationship all began.
I love the way Tristan cares for his daughter and is such an amazing father.
I love how once the tension snaps between Tristan and Abigail, it is some GOOOOD dirty talk.
And I love the way he cares for Abigail, even when she tries to fight him on it. So so so swoony!!

Natasha continues to crush it with this series!!

“You did good,” she praises me, making me laugh as I nod. “Uncle Matthew said you could have scored at least four times if you shot the puck.”

“Okay.” I take a deep exhale. “I don’t know how to say this, so I think I’m just going to come right out and say it.” He just waits for me. “I’m the father of Abigail’s baby,” I say the words out loud and watch his face. It goes from worry to confusion and then to shock, followed by a loud gasp. His hand flies to the top of his head before he jumps up. “Why would you tell me this?” he shrieks. “Oh my God, how could you tell me this?”
...
“You need to leave now and go and bare your truth so I can bear mine.” He grabs the shirt I just took off and tosses it to me. “Like right now.” He then grabs my keys and phone and holds them out for me. “The sooner, the better.” “Are you serious?” I ask, putting on the shirt. “I have never been more serious in my life,” he assures me, his chest rising and falling. “It’s ten o’clock.” He looks at his Apple Watch. “Get on the plane in an hour, that’s eleven, get to New York in, what… three hours, if you tell the pilot to gun it.” I roll my lips. “So sitting down with Justin at four his time. I can tell Vivienne at three thirty our time.” He puts his hand on his head. “This is huge.”

“Of course, you’re the father,” she mumbles. “I can’t even believe you are asking me this.” “Well, how was I supposed to actually know,” I answer back to her question and then my head hangs down and the tears come to me. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I ask as she looks at me with her own tears in her eyes. She opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out. “How could you keep this from me?”
...
“You can be as involved as you want to be,” she assures me and I glare at her now. “How involved I want to be?” I ask her the question, hoping I didn’t hear it right. “Yes. This must be a shock to you.” “A shock to me?” I look at her. “A shock. It’s so much more than that.” I swallow down the rage that wants to come up. “I can’t even put into words what I’m feeling right now,” I tell her, and tears come out of my eyes. I don’t even bother wiping them off at this point. “You have no idea the guilt I carry.” The sob wants to escape, but I push it down. “The guilt that I try to make up for every day.” I shake my head. “I missed all the firsts,” I say, the guilt coming to the surface. “The guilt that eats away at me every time I sit down, and my mind wonders about her, hopefully feeling like I didn’t desert her. Or that she thought I didn’t fucking care.” The thought guts me. “First heartbeat, first picture, first breath. First cry, first smile.” I’m gutted again. “First time she crawled. The first time she took a step. The first time she fell and got hurt, I wasn’t there for her. I missed it all. It was ripped away from me.” I can’t help the broken way my voice is. “And I vowed to myself that the next time it happened. The next time I had a child, it would be different. I was not going to miss anything.” “I’m never going to keep you away,” she says, her voice cracking too. “You did, though, by not telling me.”

I was so excited for this book, but it kinda feel flat for me. I listen to this book in audio and I struggled with the narration. This is a friends to lover but the way some of the interactions happen they are more just acquaintances.
