Such a fun easy read! Silly, fast paced and sometimes corny. It was nice to see female friendship and there was a surprising twist. It was nice to hear the main characters opening up and being honest with herself and others. The corniness and poop talk was too much for me. But I liked it and it was refreshingly diverse.

Thank you Netgalley, Harlequin Audio and Gloria Chao for the audio Arc of The Ex- Girlfriends Murder Club.
Narrated by Carolyn Kang
This will be the first book of Gloria Chao and I really enjoyed the premise and the delivery of the plot line. There was a great balance between the dark humour, character development and plot line. The book starts out strong, get you hooked and then you are gripped by a constant, medium pace of this narrative,
This book was narrated by Carolyn Kang and her voice was absolutely spot on for this book.
A solid 4 stars

This book was such a fun surprise! The Ex-Girlfriend Murder Club strikes the perfect balance between a lighthearted read and a compelling mystery. Gloria Chao delivers a smart, witty story that had me hooked from the start. The murder-mystery element kept things interesting without ever feeling too heavy, and the character dynamics made it even more entertaining.
Carolyn Kang absolutely nails the narration. She brings just the right energy and emotion to the story, making it easy to get swept up in the twists and turns. Her performance made the audiobook even more enjoyable—and honestly, I’d recommend listening to this one over reading it. It’s that good.
Huge thank you to Harlequin Audio for approving me to listen via NetGalley!

I’m a little surprised the average rating is on the lower side. I went into this expecting a light-hearted mystery and I think I got what I was expected. In my opinion, there is TOO much jokes, mentions, and detail of human excrement.
A lot of this book was satisfying in the way you can see female friendships blossom and the small subplot of romance was interesting as well. I did end up guessing whodunit half way through but it was still interesting to see how it played out. I enjoyed the mentions and ending of the podcast mentions and how the ladies decided to confront the murderer. The climax and reveal was lackluster in my opinion, but the ending was satisfying.
I would not reread but this was a fun way to pass time.
Easy to read and quick story.

Graphic: Death, Infidelity, Toxic relationship, Excrement, Murder, Gaslighting, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Kidnapping
Ehhhh moments of cuteness but mostly cringe and predictable and things the main character did was so stupid it was hard to keep going.
