Kathryn Hu is a chemist at Harvard and has the seemingly perfect relationship. Until she finds her boyfriend proposing to his long term girlfriend. And they both find him with a Tinder fling at their AirBnB. All three of them plan to prank Tucker which goes sideways when they find him dead in his apartment. Now they have a hot detective and a nosy podcaster on their tail as they race to find the killer before they go down for his murder.
This book is The Other Woman as a fast paced murder mystery. It was hilarious and I loved the bond between all of them. They explored what it meant for them to be betrayed and trying to move on from their traumas together, or as my friend would say “bitch bond”. This is interwoven with their investigation into the boyfriend’s life, leaving them wondering if any of them knew him at all. Absolutely loved the ending and the twists.
