A huge improvement on the stagnation of book 2, this escalates the war for Rilpor to a much larger scale. Every storyline was intriguing, meaning you were always sad when one chapter ended, but happy when the other started. A great end to the series.

What an ending to a great series!!

I'm at a loss for words on how to describe my feelings for this book, and this series on a whole. The first book blew me away and the following two books have not disappointed. Anna Stephens has created a wonderful world and well-fleshed out characters, some of whom have become very precious to me and some of whom I was grateful for their demise.

I have felt a multitude of feelings over this series and I love when books can bring out multiple feelings from me at the same time. Like rip my heart out then instantly hug it. I definitely felt that at the end of this book.

I'm going to miss this series and these characters immensely but I am looking forward to reading anything else Anna Stephens writes. Highly recommend these books for Fantasy and Grimdark fans!

Tara's stuff was absolutely amazing. Everything else... Meh.

I'm here for these characters (although we've lost some already, no one is safe!) but overall the series fell flat for me. I love the grimdark genre for its morally grey characters, and found the ones in the Godblind trilogy to be too clear-cut, either good or evil. Thankfully, the plot was engaging until the end, and I don't regret finishing the series, but for me the gore and language remained somewhat over the top, almost grotesque at times.

That was heartbreaking on so many levels that I don’t even know how to comprehend it.

A fantastic ending to a brilliant trilogy!
