I enjoyed it and it was a quick read. I was getting a bit bored of the characters drama but I enjoyed the plot.

It's fine for what it is. From the description, it sounded like a mix of weird world-hopping and relationship issues, and that's exactly what it was. But the mix was a bit off for my preference. I wanted more world-hopping and less relationship issues. But to each their own.

This was a cute little story that felt similar to A Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, one of my favorite books. I think the reason for my lower rating is that I feel like the crux of this book hinges on the relationship between Jules and Ava, but we don't know either of them well enough to have an emotional attachment to either of them. The book is truly to short for that. Also, the world building could have been done better. I feel like based off of the writing I didn't get a good enough sense of each world. Everything in general just felt too brief to get a good sense of place or person. Overall, though it was a breezy easy read and the world hopping/ dimension traveling it introduces is an interesting enough concept that I'm eager to see what's next for Cipri's LitenVerse series.

This was a wonderful, fun, and hearty little book!

A fun tale of interdimensional IKEA and anti-capitalism that gave me the vibe of 'what if Becky Chambers wrote the Backrooms?'

Cipri brings a thoughtful exploration of relationships, gender, shitty work conditions, and corporate bullshit with classic reality-hopping high science fiction and makes it work.

Short, sweet, and fully fun!

If I had a nickel for every book, I read about supernatural events happening inside of an ikea, I'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

(Horrorstor is the other book)
