A quick fun read about a adventurous journey in an unlikely place. A journey of two employees who find out their store can access parallel worlds and must traverse them to recover a customer while figuring themselves out too.

This was a pretty entertaining read. There is a Clerks-style trope where the employee who is not even supposed to be working that day ends up having to explore a wormhole in the middle of a box store with their ex. I found the Stepford-type parallel universe Ikea populated by a clone army of Marks and Danas who want to take your blood back to "Mother" to be particularly fun.

A great concept, but the execution fell flat. The relationship (non-relationship?) between the characters was so clearly toxic that I couldn’t enjoy the book. If I wanted to read 100 pages of two exes fighting, I’d go to Facebook. A real shame!
