I picked this book up because a Tiktok called it the "milf book" and that piqued my interest.
My partner ended up reading it before I could and said it was one of the best books she has ever read, which is high praise as she doesn't often read.

This book follows Erin and Cassie in their taboo relationship after a memorable one night stand and even more memorable breakfast the next day.

Erin and Cassie have a 20-ish year age gap, which isn't something I would normally go for but didn't feel to be too extreme whilst reading because Erin never refers to Cassie as anything but a "woman".

I did find that there could have been more conflict around the eventual reveal of Erin and Cassie's relationship.
particularly since it felt like the conflict between them and Parker happened off page, and even worse that Erin never got to stand up to Adam about her relationship with Cassie when he found out and instead Parker dealt with it. I know this was good for Erin and Parker's relationship but still felt like a bit of a loss.

Overall it was really good, although I didn't care for the epilogue, it was spicy, hot and sweet all at the same time.

Great spice, plot was honestly silly and unrealistic/unbelievable

This book was nice to read, but not quite for me. The end was really predictable for me. And although you saw the relationship grow in the book- and see them grow for themselves, it didn't really seem al that deep to me. I feel like the author could write more about a emotional connection between them. I really missed that in the book and I think it suited well with the end of the book to see them grow together.

After all the book was still very cute.

I really rushed through the end.
I feel like the end of the book with Parker knowing about them was really predictable. And just working to it in the book was very exhausting. Although I liked the end of the book with the proposals, I felt like it wasn't really necessary. And also both of them proposing was so predictable, but maybe that was just me.

I simply cannot imagine where this book is going. The characters are one dimensional, the chemistry is unconvincing, and I just get insane second hand embarrassment when I read this.
