This is the MILF book that I saw on Twitter.
I like the romance because it's bordering the forbidden territory (context: MC accidentally had a one night stand with her bestfriend's mom) and it's also slowburn (but not sloooowburn.)
I guess I really enjoy it when there's a thrill involved in the romance department and in this book, it's all about hiding their secret affair from the bestfriend.
Aside from romance, this book also highlighted discussion about mental health particularly with Erin (the mom) and her struggle after the divorce, and Cassie (the MC) and her maternal issues.
Spicy scenes are out of this world but the banter (sext and the way they are denying that they are definitely made for each other) is also noteworthy.
I highlighted the hell out of this book.

For my first F/F romance, excellent
I have to admit I was a little worried about the age difference, but Cassie had been adulting from a very young age, so she was definitely more mature than 22. Plus, if it had been a man and a 22 year old, it wouldn’t be weird at all, right??? [insert eye roll here]. All that is to say that this was a great book.

It’s so hard thinking of a rating for this book, but imma go with 3.5 for now. It might change later. I think it was mainly the writing style — the 3rd person that I didn’t vibe with. Normally I don’t mind but it felt a bit difficult to connect with the characters. This was cute and the ending was so sweet. I’m also envious… like me and who?
