This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it. This is everything I could ever want from a Sapphic romance. Don't let this cover fool you, this is steamy!

Cassie is such a confident character and is not afraid to go after what she wants. So when she sees a beautiful woman from across the room, she buys her a drink and one thing leads to another. Cassie is young, but she has a stable head on her shoulders and is excelling in college.

Erin is in town to visit her daughter at college so the night before she is to meet her daughter, she ends up in a random bar and it quickly becomes a night she will never forget.

The two part ways and call it what it is, a one night stand. That is until the two run into each other at breakfast.
Their chemistry is off the charts and it will have your heart wooing for these two.

Some of my favorite tropes, best friend's parent (mom), age gap, forced proximity and it is spicy. Need I say more?

The cringe in this book was so strong. I wasn't sure if it was the mom-of-the-best-friend, the I need to bone her at her daughter's acapella concert, or the reading about college girls who were doing school very differently from me, but I just couldn't with this book. It WAS interesting to learn that I am ok with a 500 year gap between people in a fantasy book, but am not ok with the 20(?) year age gap in this one? For me it was really the mom-of-the-best-friend, that was not good for me. I'm sure others would disagree but that's all I gotta say 'bout this book.
