Unabashed Disney nerd here...and I love the movie "Tangled"! I also love the animated series "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure"! So you'd think this book would be a slam dunk, right? Well, not exactly. Don't get me wrong...I enjoyed it. But I didn't love it. Why? Lack of character interaction...other than Raps and Cassandra. Eugene had a few pages here and there (and Pascal was there but didn't really do much), but other than that we got very little. No Shorty. No Hook Foot. No Pete the Guard. No Stan the Guard. No Stabbington Brothers. No Max. No Varian. I'm hoping the next book in this series will be better.

NOTE TO TANGLED FANS: If you agree with me that Disney should do an animated Varian series and this author should write a Varian series, give a "like" and/or leave a comment below.

this was a really fun book that would have been even better with a perspective from Eugene fitzherbert. Hopefully next time

This was definitely a book I enjoyed reading. The friendship between Cass and Raps is special and I loved getting to see it evolve from the beginning. This was entertaining from start to finish. Would recommend to fans of tangled the series.

I did like the interplay of Povs between two atypical females...the highly creative+expressive Rapunzel and her not so normal lady in waiting...sword fighting, future captain of the guards Cassandra.

Prose is a bit disappointing but characters are on point. Must read for fans of the show and especially Cassunzel shippers.

I loved this book! Being a huge fan of Rapunzel, especially the TV show, I liked seeing another continuation of her story. I loved how it gave more depth on the beginning of Cassandra and Rapunzels friendship. Recommend!

Quelle jolie petite découverte !

J'ai adoré la série Raiponce et je suis ravie d'avoir trouvé un livre qui prolonge cet univers que j'aime tant ! Je trouve que cette petite histoire s'inscrit très bien dans l'ambiance de la série, j'ai parfaitement bien réussi à me l'imaginer comme si c'était un épisode en tant que tel.

Cassandra et Raiponce sont fidèles à elles-mêmes et bien travaillées. Je suis contente qu'Eugene soit plus en retrait dans ce livre, ça permet à la relation Raiponce/Cassandra de vraiment bien se développée et surtout d'être mise en avant !

Le roman reste destiné à un public plutôt jeune donc est assez prévisible sur certains points mais ça n'empêche pas de passer un bon moment durant cette lecture !

À lire si vous avez apprécié la série !
