Solid book. I’m looking forward to reading it again when I have a bit more experience.

I read this alongside learning some simple Python programming as a way of distancing myself from some creative work. It provides a lot of interesting things to think about in the field of programming for both new programmers and for people who have been working in the field for a while, though I think a more seasoned programmer would get a lot more out of it than a new one. Technically, I'm neither, though I worked in IT for many years and occasionally tinker with programming here and there.

Very helpful! I'm a recent college grad, and this book had a lot of tips to prepare me for industry. Definitely learned a lot. Towards the end, things got a little repetitive, but overall this is a really good read for early-in-career software engineers.

This is required reading for any programmer

At times a bit light and anecdotal, without much technical detail. Goes through some useful principles but could cut out some of the fluff.

Cool concepts.
