This book reminded me of Babel and Natural Beauty. I did find the twist a little obvious, but that might be because I've read books with similar plots recently. I did find that the perspective of a Pakistani translator was unique and added a lot to the book. I ready this in two sitting, so it was an engaging and interesting read. I enjoyed a lot of the asides about the power of mother tongues for polyglots. I think those little asides were my favourite point of the book, really highlighting how the language you think and dream in affects the way you see and interact with the world.

Ending was too abrupt
mysterious fast-paced
