Really great read with a super interesting concept. Bradbury creates a (somewhat typical of dystopian literature) rebellious protagonist, to great emotional effect. Plenty of room for philosophical contemplation after reading this.
I really just write short little simple reviews for myself to look back on to remember what I felt after reading a book, but this one needs more processing, so I’ll update at a later time.
Excellent and sobering considering how similar the book’s setting is to our current society (now 60-odd years after it was written).
It provides food for thought regarding censorship, happiness, relationships and humanity, literature and thought.
I’m still surprised that I hadn’t read this earlier but I’m glad I have now. I’m sure I will read it again.

It was very interesting and thought provoking. But lost my attention in the 3rd part. I feel like I missed some key lessons there. Would suggest other to read and will continue to research it and read other analysis of ut, but probably won't read again.

This book is a classic and an interesting story. Many analyses have been done on the themes this book covers and they are many for the short story it is. Bradbury creates a captivating dystopian world with a compelling character arc. What stuck most with me is how the stories we are told can so easily change our perspective on every day life and what's normal and what's not. Of course we all know it. but how simply Montag believes the story of what firemen are and how they were never there to actually fight fires, is fascinating in that sense.
If you haven't read it, you should. it is short, interesting and evokes reflection.
