So of course, this starts out a bit twisted but this is a mafia book so it should be expected. Please look at all warnings and triggers.
So, Dante’s older brother ultimately didn’t inherit the kingdom so Dante did. Not by choice but it is his to deal with now. When he gets word someone owes them money, since he can’t find the guy he gets the next thing, his sister.
Kat, albeit she has been scorned in the past, is still a feisty hot head. So when she gets kidnapped she is not going to go down without a fight.
Neither Dante nor Kat expect what is to come. Lots of banter and chemistry with these two. Love seeing the softer side of Dante and the tougher side of Kat. They each bring something to the table. Good read.

Solid mafia romance, strong FMC (which is hit or miss with mafia), and I could totally believe the ruthlessness and tenderness of the MMC for only his "kitten". I will read others by this author.
