Really I just need to stop trying romances. I enjoyed the teeny bit of banter before it leapt straight to physical but there wasn’t enough build and up for me to be interested in rooting for the relationship.

Basically it’s the they meet and are gobsmacked by each other, immediate lust, but then complications and finally happily ever after.

Quiet, enjoyable romance. Very much character over plot, possibly a touch too much so. Did feature the main character being their own worst enemy, but at least consistently written enough to seem like a thing a person would do and not a convenient plot device.
