Fun read, I don’t think I enjoyed this as much as the first one but still a nice read nonetheless

I think the first book is better. I think This book would have been better being published by itself then being published as the second book in the series because the character from the first book (Aubrey Barns) only shows up once in this book. So they were both tied together at all and were more like two separate books. But it’s still worth the read.

See my review of the first book in this series. Didn’t like the narrator or the story really. The flaws of the main character make me dislike the character more rather than like him more.

Another fantastic read from Hayden Stone, and I can't wait to get my hands on more of his work. Dan Calley's narration was lovely and I hope to hear him read more brogues because I could listen to his Ben all day.

I'm a sucker for stories about musicians, and this one has a lovely balance of reality balancing out the up-and-coming music star.

Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing for a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review because Hayden Stone has done it again and I loved this book! Charlie and Ben are the kind of imperfectly real characters that I live to read! They are flawed and beautiful and I couldn’t put down this book. I’m a sucker for a grumpy and sunshine trope and these two tick that box so well. Hayden Stone is officially an autobuy author for me! Content warnings: drug use, addiction, emotional abuse, and homophobia. Note: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
