I only just realized that every book in this series represents a season. This one is spring and it includes a boat trip, a secret island, and a legendary sea creature. As usual: heartwarming friendship and very spooky scenes. The ending gave me goosebumps and I’m very much looking forward to the last book’s summer carnival.

Why did it have to be snakes?

This story wasn’t as compelling as the previous ones. Still entertaining. I’m hoping the last story in the series is better and brings some swift, righteous justice to the smiling man.
