Cumbres borrascosas me dejó, al principio, sin saber qué sentir ni qué pensar. Todos los personajes eran tan humanos y tan desgarradores que no me atrevía a juzgarlos. De todos ellos, me quedo con Heathcliff, ejemplo perfecto del monstruo gótico-romántico, comparable en implacabilidad y complejidad al monstruo de Shelley o al vampiro de Stoker. Excelente novela, bien construida en cuanto a su estructura (que no sabría si definir como "de cajas chinas", como la anuncian muchas veces).
Como dato extra, si planean leer esta obra, que no sea en la edición de EMU (editores mexicanos unidos), porque es pésima, está llena de erratas y de faltas de ortografía horrendas.

i sometimes find classics take so much concentration and willpower to read, but this had me hooked. it was incredible, and the more i read about it the more fascinating it becomes. it is a novel about passion, power and pain, a story within a story within a story, and it does not disappoint!! i don’t think it’s possible to summarise my thoughts without writing pages and pages.
