I really wanted to love it. I adored Divine Rivals but this book is different. It’s written beautifully but I struggled to read it. It was slow and took a while to get to anything. The magic system and the whole idea is really great and interesting but I felt it needed more interaction between characters vs the world building/internal thoughts.

Magical & dreamy!

A little fast paced but I enjoyed the multiple perspectives. World building & magic system were easy to follow. 

I didn’t expect the ending to play out how it did at all, but I enjoyed it! It’s left me wanting for more (:
