Really liked Spencer and Cory’s story but the voyerism was a bit much

I enjoyed this light-hearted MM. It develops and unravels as most bet trope romances do, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. The sexy times were hot and it made me laugh a couple of times which is always a bonus!

Because honestly this was a strong 3.75. But it’s important to me that it stays there. Like that bit that lacks for it to get to four is really important lol. They were so sweet and I liked the couple A LOT, I truly enjoyed them. But the first start of the book was a bit slow, although the sexy slow burn was really good, if it hadn’t turned around when it did, this would’ve been a 3 flat or a 2.
Anyways, my favorite continues to be Mr. Romance, so let’s see how the next ones go!

I’m loving this Franklin University series and Bet You was no exception! This was a fun read with lots of hot moments between Cory and Spencer.
Spencer Crowe is an ecology major who’s paying his own way to finish his degree, working at Shenanigans and doing everything he can to get internships to set himself up for the future. He barely has time for any fun but living next door to the party frat causes more problems than anticipated, especially when it comes to stealing his parking space. Spencer is sweet, nerdy and driven to succeed because of his mom’s health and doesn’t need any distractions this year.
Cory Ingram is a member of FU’s party frat, the DIKs, and has a reputation for being all about having a good time. His parents own an advertising agency in NYC where he’s supposed to work after graduation but he loves California and being able to sail whenever the mood strikes. Cory is a nice guy but definitely falls into a lot of frat guy stereotypes - betting on hookups, goofing around and flirting up a storm with everyone.
Spencer isn’t even on Cory’s radar until he confronts Cory about stealing his parking spot. They’re “enemies” for a while, trying to annoy each other and not actually talk about their feelings/attraction to each other. Once they finally move past it, their relationship is sweet but also has some spicy moments through their adjacent dorm room windows. Even though it was clear the bet was going to be a part of the conflict, I didn’t hate it. Cory had to grovel and grand gesture like crazy (loved this moment!) to show Spencer that he was serious. The epilogue was great and definitely gave us a satisfying ending for these two.
Another fun addition to the Franklin University world! Can’t wait for the next one!

!! I don't equate fiction stories to real life. It's a matter of personal taste and what you are willing or want to tolerate in the books you read. We all have different opinions and preferences when it comes to the kind of books we enjoy, so it's important to respect and remember that it's just a book!!
