I gotta say I liked this very, Very Much! Especially after reading and finding [b:The Glow Up|61366083|The Glow Up (Franklin U #5)|A.M. Johnson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1658781345l/61366083._SY75_.jpg|96791483] quite dull.
Although Neve Wilder isn't a go-to author of mine, I knew this was potentially a good read because I have enjoyed her Extracurricular Activities stories, those that I've read, way more than any of her other books that I've tried, including her collab with Onley James. And I wasn't disappointed.
Spencer and Cory had amazing chemistry, loved their push and pull, banter that was drew me in and got me invested in their interactions and budding romances.
But after the incident with the boat, things between Cory and Spencer lost momentum.
***spoilers ahead***
I was expecting a more funny drunk Spencer, a bit more angst with the whole bet thing, and everything after that just wasn't as engaging as the first 3/4ths of the book.
The epilogue was set a year and a half later, and was a strong HFN, with touches from their lives mixing, with parental meets and going on holiday together, but a HEA? It's possible but it didn't gave a solid feeling.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Playboy Cory makes a bet that he can get grumpy Spencer to sleep with him … only to fall for him instead. Includes a Tom holland dancing to Rihanna reenactment, mild enemies to lovers over a stolen parking space. All the good vibes
