This was like a 3.8 but rounded up to 4 (obliviously lol)
There was a part of the story that gave me a lot of second hand embarrassment and didn’t like to much at first (when you read this, you’ll probably find out why lol) but it was handled pretty good and I ended up just getting used to it lmao. It felt cute and romantic and I absolutely loved the side/supporting characters. I feel like it’s a hard to find a well written women characters, especially in a mlm book but this book has two women who I wished we saw more of.

I’m loving this Franklin University series and Bet You was no exception! This was a fun read with lots of hot moments between Cory and Spencer.
Spencer Crowe is an ecology major who’s paying his own way to finish his degree, working at Shenanigans and doing everything he can to get internships to set himself up for the future. He barely has time for any fun but living next door to the party frat causes more problems than anticipated, especially when it comes to stealing his parking space. Spencer is sweet, nerdy and driven to succeed because of his mom’s health and doesn’t need any distractions this year.
Cory Ingram is a member of FU’s party frat, the DIKs, and has a reputation for being all about having a good time. His parents own an advertising agency in NYC where he’s supposed to work after graduation but he loves California and being able to sail whenever the mood strikes. Cory is a nice guy but definitely falls into a lot of frat guy stereotypes - betting on hookups, goofing around and flirting up a storm with everyone.
Spencer isn’t even on Cory’s radar until he confronts Cory about stealing his parking spot. They’re “enemies” for a while, trying to annoy each other and not actually talk about their feelings/attraction to each other. Once they finally move past it, their relationship is sweet but also has some spicy moments through their adjacent dorm room windows. Even though it was clear the bet was going to be a part of the conflict, I didn’t hate it. Cory had to grovel and grand gesture like crazy (loved this moment!) to show Spencer that he was serious. The epilogue was great and definitely gave us a satisfying ending for these two.
Another fun addition to the Franklin University world! Can’t wait for the next one!

The summary and title make you think that the bet is going to be a main plot point; it only comes up when it’s conveniently-timed miscommunication. But the dialogue and (especially) the steamy scenes are WONDERFUL.

This was very meh for me 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t like the bet/dare trope so I went into this one very wary anyway buy I also was annoyed with Spencer for about 80% of the book and I just really struggled through the first half especially! I did really love the last few chapters and ended up really loving how their relationship turned out so I'm happy about that!
