I thought Jeram’s illustrations were great and I get why they're iconic. there is something soft and yet wild about the hares that is appealing. the story is terrible though, with a father hare constantly trying to top his son's love. very negative and weird. made me anxious.

This is one of those books I just don’t get tired of reading with a little one on my lap.

Very, very sweet to connect to the unending love in a healthy parent/ child relationship.

Classic bedtime story that we’ve enjoyed over the years.

xmas gift. Cannot understand it fully with my poor Finnish. I used to love this story a lot but this time I find it pretty strange, why the big rabbit has to win all the time?

A heart-warming tale of love. And one-upmanship.
