Por enquanto a leitura vai seguindo muito previsível: Telly é o matador. Será mesmo? Cadê o plot twist do livro? Desconfio quando é assim.
Sinceramente não foi o melhor livro da Lisa que li, muito menos o melhor do gênero. Não fiquei muito curiosa pra saber quem era o assassino do casal Duval, pq tinha a certeza de que não era o Telly. Era muito óbvio pra ser verdade. Spoiler Realmente Telly não é o assassino. O pai de Sandra Duval é um ricaço da máfia que está morrendo de câncer. Ele sabe que após sua morte pessoas irão atrás de sua filha p pegar a senha das contas na Suíça e é isso que acontece. Os Duval são mortos e tentam jogam a culpa em Telly, mas sua irmã e o cachorro o ajudam no final.

Love love loved it. Could not put it down. Would give it 10 stars if I could!
This story line wasn't what I expected, but that's not my complaint. Overall the book felt too long, too forced, too many explanations / monologues. I don't know I will recommend or read this author again. If you're a regular reader of suspense / thrillers this book will let you down (you can do a lot better) but if you're newer to the genre this book and author might be okay.

A pretty standard thriller that felt at times like it was forcing the mystery to be more mysterious than necessary. The characters are enjoyable and familiar (in the case of Rainie and Quincy, though they felt more ancillary to the overall air of the novel), but it felt like this was dragged out to a pretty simple conclusion.
Also did not care for the Noonan character, who ultimately doesn't serve a real purpose in the end of the tale, but like the author couldn't really think of anything else to do with him.

I started to get bored half way through as I guessed some of what was going on, but there were still some twists and turns after that and the story picked up momentum again. I enjoyed the change of point of view as chapters switched between characters. This was my first Lisa Gardner book, but I definitely plan to try out another one.

Can I give 6 stars? This book was PHENOMENAL!!!! I loved the multiple pov. I'm so obsessed with these beautiful characters. The twist was perfect.

I liked this to start, and through the middle but the ending was kind of meh! Would have gone 3.5 stars but alas good reads doesn’t do that.
کتاب انسجام خیلي خوبي داشت هرچند که پرونده‌ش برای من جذابیت آنچناني نداشت.
چون خودم رو موظف میدونستم روزی ۱ ساعت کتاب بخونم، نسبتاً سریع خوندمش. نمیدونم اگر به خودم بود احتمالاً چقدر خوندنش طول میکشید.
نه پلات توییست خاصي داشت، نه اتفاق آنچنان هیچان انگیزی افتاد. بیشتر رو روابط افراد تمرکز کرده بود.
