Here we go... another author whose backlist I'm adding to my TBR and preordering the 2nd book in this series already.
This book is go, go, go from the outset, which I absolutely love. If a book isn't gripping me by the throat within the 20-35 pages, it doesn't bode well (aka I'll be DNFing). But here? The pace is wildly fast - that may be a drawback for some and does hinder the plot a couple of times, but it keeps your attention. Remember, this is a romance, we're suspending belief in some instances and we love our dark heroes.
And kinky? It's here and it's written well. Let's be honest, daddy kink is one those things that can very easily become cringe, yet K. Oliver writes it so well. No skipping over chunks of text or reading through your fingers because you're cringing. It just worked. The spice is downright filthy and Cash (MMC) is that unhinged alpha when it comes to Jordyn (FMC). And Jordyn... feisty and sassy. Definitely not who or what Cash was expecting, which makes this all the more fun to read!

Holy moly! This book was hot, hot, hot! This is my first book by Kate Oliver and I’m wondering why I’ve waited so long to read her books! I will be working through the author’s backlist asap. Savage Revenge is the first book in the Savage Sins Series.
Cash is my type of MMC. Totally over the top, slightly unhinged and willing to anything for his woman. Jordyn isn’t having Cash’s slightly caveman ways and goes ten toes in up against him. Of course, this is fuels Cash’s obsession even more.
I’ve recently gotten into Daddy kink books and so this was right up my alley. Jordyn’s brattiness just made her even more likable in my opinion.
Oh, I also wanted to give kudos to the author for telling us in advance that the f word is used over 400 times in this book. It just made me love this book, and this author even more!
Thank you to Kate Oliver and Grey’s Promo for the ARC of this book.

I wanted to like this more, but some sections gave me the ick. The plot felt rushed and there wasn't true growth between the characters to convince me they had grown to care for one another. It was all too shallow for me.
Thank you to Grey’s Promotions for the ARC.

This was such a fun little romp. It was a quick ride to get to the meat of the book - the forced proximity, captor x captive, I'll hurt you but not really because I'm super obsessed with you and literally just want to take care of you. The black cat/brat that was Jordyn was so fun and Cash REALLY DID need someone to say no to him!
Were there things I didn't love? Yes. I did not love that while they weren't necessarily in an explicit dynamic, he was pushing for a 24/7 situation and didn't really check in about it or that she couldn't use his first name like, ever. Let a girl call you by your first name bro. I did NOT love the cameras in the bathroom - that was icky. And I didn't love him being mad at HER for leaving when he basically told her to - and made the bodyguard be the one to offer it!
But I DID f**king eat up how he cared for her when she had the migraine and was on her period and honestly, in general. When he was finally vulnerable with her was when it all really shined. The gummy bears on the patio???? F**king adorable. I did love that in the end when she basically had inherited control of that entire gaming corporation he was like "get it, girl" and let her cook. There were a lot of things that I didn't love or that weren't my favorite, but overall, this worked in a big way!
If you love a forced proximity, morally grey hero who will burn down the world, black cat brat who needs someone to let her cook, Daddy-kink and spanking as foreplay crossed with some insta-lust touch her and die we're both only soft for each other spicy little romances??? This is for you.

When Cash Savage believes that Thomas Kingston murdered his father, he decides to kidnap Kingston’s daughter Jordyn - she must know something, right? As the days pass, the two become more attracted to one another, but can love blossom under these conditions?
I’ve never read a book by Kate Oliver before, but this one was so enjoyable. I love the dynamic of the four brothers and how much they care for one another. The banter between Cash and Jordyn is next level. Jordyn is smart, sassy, and tough. Cash is alpha, caring, and possessive. I love Caleb the bodyguard who needs his own book! The course of the story takes place over five days, so there’s some instalove happening, but Oliver makes sure that Cash and Jordyn have time to get to know ind another and develop some emotional depth to their relationship. The world building is great, the characters are strong, and the plot is well developed.
I recommend Savage Revenge. Read it and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!
This was a really good start to the series! The title tells you it all, it's all about revenge and its savage. Cash is in need of revenge and Jordyn is just the person he is looking for (ish). After getting over just who Jordyn is, he decides that he will use her to get to her father, that's how these things go after all. But what happens when it becomes more than just revenge?
This was freaking amazing! I am here for the whole call me Daddy trope and this was done perfectly. I cannot wait to see what's up next for the series. We are getting drama, danger, violence, a seriously over the top alpha, and some explosive naughty bits. I give this 5 stars.
