Ahhh OMG this book was so adorable!!!

This is the sequel to Of Moons And Monsters and let me tell you it is AMAZING! That cliffhanger though….

Isla is the sweetest character and her mates are so freaking cute! They work so well together and they have grown so much since the first book. What I really loved is that we get to see Alistair, Matthieu, and Rian’s point of view and what they’ve been up to since Isla has been gone. I really love each and every character, and I absolutely love the LGBTQIA representation in this series! Willow Hadley always writes such sweet and steamy books and never and I mean NEVER writes a bad book.

The steam in this book is off the charts. It’s flaming hot…

First, the author is mean giving us that ending. Second, this book would have been so much better if it just focused on Isla and her boys instead of going back to the perspective of Alistair, the witch, and the Unseelie face.

Juggling the strange perspectives make the time in the book strange and chapters end up backtracking. It just would have been better if it was more consistent.

The world building definitely improved in this book. I find myself very sad the next book in the series still does not have an expected release date, because i find myself caring enough that i would like to know what happens to Isla and her mates. I will be keeping an eye out, hopefully its not so long that i dont remember whats happened thus far.

Better than the last book, some editing errors. I love Matt, he’s surprisingly not terrible Ace rep

Recap for when book 3 comes out, I don’t really wanna read book3, but the fucking cliff hanger is gonna make me:
Isla has been kidnapped and taken buy a ‘human’ trafficker. Evil King guy who’s name starts with a J, buys her, puts her in a cage and sends her as gift to his chimera-gaurdians. They are angry at the King. They Mate with her, they’re happy. Except for her two mate-potentials and her ‘brother’ Alister are looking for her still. They’re going crazy murdery looking for her, but can’t find her because shes in a different realm.

There are a group of other chimera-gaurdians that are like ‘demon sympathizers’ and so is they’re queen.

Mal steals a portal stone from the king, with the help of the prince, to take Isla back to her home realm. Mal and Isla drink a potion so they can speak the same language before they go through the portal to New York.

Mal and Isla are going to New York
Matt, Al, and Rian are in NYC
Other three mates are at ‘work’
