Quite an interesting read and I can also tell this is one of Jodi's earlier books because I saw the twist coming. 3.75/5

This was a great book! This was the second Jodi Picoult i've read and I enjoyed this one so much more immensely than the first.

I give it 4 and a half stars because of the ending. I was so disappointed.

Intriguing story with a plot that hooked me in the first few chapters.

This was great. I enjoyed the setting and storyline a lot. The characters and some of the plot was a little cliche for me, but overall it was great. I nailed the twist early on and it wasn't executed as well as most of Picoult's are, but it was still good. Interesting ethical thoughts to think through as they intersect cultural differences.

DNF at 30%. Wasn't actually interested in the story or invested in the characters. Just kind of wanted to know who the killer was not actually interested in the rest of the story.
