It was just too long. I would really enjoy a condensed version of this book.
As always a well researched story line with depth of plots and personalities.

Picoult has a knack for telling stories of all sorts. "Plain Truth" upheld this expectation, however, it was not one of my favorite works by her. For a full review see www.sagetheblog.com

If you've never read Jodi Picoult before, which I can't imagine, this is a perfect one to start with. An Amish teen becomes pregnant and hides the birth, in fact, she completely denies that any of it ever happened. The trouble begins when the baby is discovered dead. Ellie Hathaway, an attorney, decides to represent the teen, but must immerse herself into this unique community in order to get to the truth.
