Loved the world building and characters. I really enjoyed the slow burn and how Ada’s backstory is slowly revealed along with the horror aspects of the book. The role of religion was interesting and there are a lot of repeating images like animals giving birth. Very feminist, very queer.
The ending made it go from 5 stars to 4.
